Want to know some random facts about me? I’ll keep appending to this list when I can, and update it with changes.

1. I’m a lazy person, but a perfectionist. I spend that extra energy to get something looking good if it doesn’t require me to do something embarrassing or something super physical. I like my sleep, but I get my work done with a shine.
2. I was born and raised with Legos, video games, comics, and anime. I’m not ashamed that I had hobbies related to such things! }:O
3. I was baptized when I was 10, but I don’t believe in a God anymore.
4. I am attached to my stuffed animals. I believe they have souls! And they protect me from roaming bad spirits in the middle of the night.
5. I got my nickname Mia because people in my childhood neighborhood, for some reason or another, had trouble memorizing/saying my real name and reverted to something that sounded close to it. Mia. Mii-ah. Me-yah. Mee. So difficult…
6. I don’t like olives! And I used to only eat mushrooms prepared by Theresa, otherwise I was skeptic. Today, shiitake is my favorite meat!
7. I’m still afraid of the dark. I believe I have a reason to be paranoid even if nothing is “supposed” to be there.
8. I never believed in Santa. It was because I didn’t understand the concept of Santa, lul.
9. I started web designing and graphic design when I was 10. I was a curious one back then because it was pretty and interesting and I wanted to learn more! Then I stopped when I got to college mainly to lack of motivation and interest…. but mostly due to the lack of time.
10. I got my ears pierced my senior year four months before senior prom, just FOR senior prom. Now, I rarely wear earrings.
11. I always had my sleeping Totoro wall scroll hanging above my bed since junior high. I didn’t even realize this until I took photos of my room in multiple places (home, summer sessions during high school, college) and compared them and noticed that he was always sleeping where I was! It wasn’t until I moved to the house on Berkeley when I couldn’t hang him above me. We weren’t supposed to pierce the brute walls with anything.
12. I like baking cookies and other pastries from scratch more than eating them afterward.
